The Frisco campus of BS&W has expanded their health care system with a new six-story heart hospital to accommodate the regional growth. A two-story glass enclosed lobby with a gently curving curtain wall invites natural daylight and is accented with extended face caps to provide architectural interest. Automatic sliding entrances at the main entrance provides efficiency in accommodating visitors and patients. Punched openings and ribbon windows add the ambiance of natural lightening to the patient rooms. The strategically placed sunshades on the ribbon windows are beneficial in adding shading to the patient rooms from the summer sun.
Thank you to DPR Construction and HKS Architects for the working partnership on the project. Thank you to our vendors and partners; Kawneer Company, Viracon Glass, Stanley Automatic Entrances.
